Works well but doesn't last
We bought three of these to keep my 18 month old out of kitchen and bathroom cabinets. At first they were tough to get on and off but it seems to get easier over time. 4 months later and my daughter has managed to break one just by yanking on it. A small piece of plastic used in the ratcheting mechanism broke off. It makes me question the durability and reliability.

It's a shame because I would have given these 4 or 5 stars instead.

Tricky to Use, but effective
You won't have to worry about your kids figuring out how to use these; they are a pain! It took my husband using a hammer to finally get the lock off the cabinet doors! I don't recommend using these on doors that you use frequently; however, it may be a good idea to put these on cabients that store chemicals, cleaners and such. They do the job!

Serves it's purpose
We got these to block off the last two places that my 1 year old was opening up. It stopped him, so that was the point. These are very tight and hard to work, even for adults though. I had to put them on doors that I don't get into much.

if you want to use this cabinet a lot, its a pain, but it does work to keep my kid out.

Works Like It Should
This lock gives piece of mind. It's easy for adults to use and almost impossible for kids to open. It's sturdy and doesn't require drilling into any cabinetry. I started out with four and ordered more to have all over the house.

A Great Book
This book is one of my favorite books of all times. It was a book I could not put down and have read many times since I first got it. You feel like you are part of this world that Amy wrote. I love this book and think everyone should read it!

A great way to spend an afternoon.
I read this book in less than three hours. It was so enjoyable and fun, yet also dark with a touch of the disturbing. The book takes place in 1917 but could just as easily been set in modern times. I recommend it for someone who is looking to spend an afternoon reading.

I enjoyed the book, I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know how it's going to end.

Not very good...
First, this is hardly a "period piece" as there are only a few mentions of the war and fashion of the era. Otherwise, this could very well be the tale of a home wrecker in the 21st century. I finished this "book" in less than an hour, so its brevity is really its only redeeming quality. In a nutshell, a well-to-do woman brings home a beautiful, but penniless, woman to give her some food. Not surprisingly, in one glance the husband to be is lovestruck by this new woman. From there the book drags on with unfelt tension as two lovebirds we don't care about play at their deception.

I note that this book comes with a "reading group discussion" section at its conclusion. In my opinion, any book that requires instruction about good points to talk about is not a book that is very good. A book worth reading will have readers talking about it without a list of recommended topics.

On that point, I will end my discussion here.

Re-Read-Ability Abounds
This is the type of magazine that no matter how many times you pick up an issue, you can always find something new and interesting. Any fan of the paranormal, cryptozoology, or any of the vague-sciences will love this magazine. To claim that FATE is not a science magazine shows ones ignorance and lack of understanding of science. FATE continues to deliver after 700 issues and 60 years. Here's to hoping that the streak continues. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have not yet begun to receive the magazine. I remember my Uncle Pete had Fate magazines when I was a youngster. He would send his old ones home with me.

supernatural
I read this magazine as a child visiting my grandparents in the 70's. It hasn't changed much since then. Fewer articles, more advertisements, not as much fun as I remember. I won't resubscribe.

Fate Rocks!
I truly love this little mag. It easily fits in my bag when I am caught in boring moments. A lot of the stories are written by regular people who are not professional writers and those are the scariest! I keep my subscription current on this treasure!

One of a kind
FATE is a full-color, 130 page monthly magazine (12issues/year)that delivers a truly one-of-a-kind reading experience. Topics include ghosts and the paranormal, psychic phenomena, ancient mysteries, folklore/myth, and all kinds of other high strangeness. Think the X Files in a monthly magazine. A perfect pick-up for you C2CAM fans out there (which is how I found out about it). You won't be disappointed.

Better than the standard Lipton
The Lipton Yellow Label tea is a step above the "regular" Lipton sold here in the States. This is your basic, everyday black tea but it is much more flavorful and bolder than the Lipton variety sold in supermarkets here. It brews a good, bracing cup of tea. I recommend it over the supermarket variety any day. I have used this to make iced tea as well and while it's good over ice, it is best served hot.

Smooth and nice-perfect for breakfast
After running out of my usual every-day tea, Trader Joe's brand of "Irish Breakfast Tea," I found this Yellow Label first at my local Chinese supermarket in the tea aisle. I had only had the "brisk" version before and wasn't such a Lipton fan, but I needed tea and bought it.

Contrary to the rather dusty, mild (watery??) taste of the "brisk" American version, Yellow Label has a good flavor and no bitterness, even when brewing for 6 min (I brew a small pot with three bags in the morning). Not quite as rich as Assam tea when mixed with milk and sugar, but a good substitute. And you can't beat the price. A very nice, full every-day tea.

The smoothest tea.......
I was first given a box of this Yellow Label from a co-worker who had traveled to China. I instantly fell in love with the smooth flavor. I found it in a Food Max in Stockton, Ca but then the store closed down. I have been on a search for the last two months because my loose leaf is almost gone also. I was brewing the tea for the staff in my office and they all love it, so when I ran out of tea bags they all wanted to know where I got the tea from. The flavor is so smooth that you almost do not need any type of sweetner at all. This should be made available in the states in at least one major grocery store. I am buying enough to share with my friends.....

Even if you don't like tea . . .
. . . you'll love this one. I fell in love with this black tea blend when I lived in Europe, and was disappointed when I returned to America that I couldn't buy it here. One taste of this smooth tea and you might change from coffee. It's the best cup of tea you'll ever drink.

Good tea!
It has a distinct taste that differs from the regular Lipton. I wish it were more readily available in the stores in US.

Poetic Justic in a Novel
Montana 1948 is as beautiful a story as one could read, even though the sadness throughout is always there. Each small section reads like a complete poem and there were many times I had to re-read a paragraph just to re-hear it in my head.

A wonderful gift for any word lover who also wants a good story.

A good book
I'm glad it's been republished because I would have never discovered it on some dusty library shelf. Watson shoots from the hip and delivers an entertaining and complex peek into the Montana world. When someone is looking for a good book, this is one of the titles I recommend.

Small-minded persons in big sky country
A twelve-year-old boy recounts a tragedy involving an uncle and a Native American woman in this story about racism, family loyalty and the quest for justice. Wes, an attorney by schooling, is the sheriff of a small town situated near an Indian reservation. He lives under the shadow of his controlling father who favors the sheriff's brother, a war hero and doctor. Their Native American nanny and housekeeper's fearful reaction to a house call leads to an informal investigation into allegations that come to light because of it. Family relationships become increasingly strained following the woman's suspicious death as the actions and intentions of the sheriff, his wife, brother, father, recovering alcoholic neighbor deputy, and other community members conflict. How far is one willing to go to protect family, defy loved ones, obtain justice? The book is short, the writing, plain and to the point, the plot, mostly believable, but putting it in the same league as To Kill a Mockingbird is an unjustified. Although a good choice for book club discussions, otherwise average. Better: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

Excellent Book
I read this book in one sitting. His characters were fascinating and his depiction of a the small Montana community was excellent... and almost 60 years after this story takes place, some things are still the same.
